Here is Logan, one of the few red Golden Retrievers that RAGOM is taking care of currently.
Not much is known about Logan, he was found as a stray in Mankato, MN and when his time was up at the pound, RAGOM took him in. He is now current on his vaccinations and microchipped. Tomorrow, he will have his neuter surgery, so by Friday or Saturday he should be ready to meet some perspective family members.
We think he is between 8 months and a year - really white teeth and lots of puppy energy. This week, he has had a blast running around the backyard with res GR, Tyson. Logan is so happy to be running after Tyson especially since he has been in the pound and boarding for over a month. He was plenty smelly, so we had a bath and brushed out to see a cleaner and shinier puppy boy. He didn't mind the bath too much and really liked being brushed. He has a little ear infection that we will be treating. He really likes FD and Logan sits his head in FD's lap to have his ears scratched.

Snuggle time
This morning, we tried a walk. He can definitely pulsl for a 65 pound dog - so we will try the gentle leader and work on better walking manners, especially since FM took a digger this morning after tripping on Logan when he stopped to smell a famous dog spot on our street. He knows how to sit, shake hands and takes treats fairly nice. We are working on more commands with him. He is learning the name "Logan" and is starting to respond when called. He loves to chew toys and tennis balls and play tug with Tyson (or retrieve the toy Tyson just stole from him). He has done pretty well inside, since he is so tired that he comes in and crashes on the floor. He slept well in the kennel at night and when needing to run errands. For eating, we are transitioning his food and he eats very well without regard to us petting him or Tyson eatting next to him. He has not chewed anything in the house or outside that was not a dog toy or stick. He sniffs in the kitchen, but has not jumped up on the counter or table. He needs a family that is very active and will play with him outside or teach him tricks. He would do best with another dog that loves to play chase and tug of war.
