Loki 12-013

Profile

Loki is a 6 week old, male Golden Retriever mix that just arrived this week.He came into the RAGOM family with his mama 12-012 Bonnie and sister 12-014 Callie, and was transported by our wonderful volunteers all the way from a reservation on the border of South Dakota and Nebraska. Loki weighs 7 pounds, has beautiful brown eyes and is in perfect health.  He had his first round of puppy shots and will need the next round in four weeks.  Loki will stay with his mama until he is 8 weeks old, be neutered and then will be ready for his forever family!

He is a sweet typical puppy – loves to snuggle, wrestle with his sister, sleep, eat and start all over again.  Loki is doing fantastic with potty training and has only had one accident in the house (which was my fault).  He keeps his kennel clean and now sleeps in his crate overnight without needing to go out.

The puppies discovered their reflection in the window, barked, cocked their head and jumped back in forth – sooooo cute!

And yes, he still has the wonderful puppy smell!  Please contact your placement advisor if you’d like to learn more about this sweet boy!

Loki has been with us for almost two weeks and has been adjusting well and amazing us with his potty training progress. Only a couple accidents so far (probably both our fault) and he even goes to the door and whines when he needs to go out.

Loki and Callie are both very playful happy puppies. Loki is the lover of the two. Always by your side and ready for a good snuggle. He will certainly be a loyal boy. His sister, Callie, is much more independent and loves to run off and explore the unknown.

Loki is finally catching up to his sister in weight. She had a habit of sneaking his food while we weren’t looking, but separating them during feeding gives him enough time to slowly enjoy his food. I guess he just wants to take the time to appreciate it.

Loki has a couple of families interested in him already. Who wouldn’t want this sweet boy? We hope to find him his forever home soon.

The puppies are growing like crazy!  And I think their mama is ready for them to be done nursing. :)  They are still doing very well with potty training, and continue to be silly, playful puppies.  They don't sleep that often, but it's hard to get photos of them on the move!

The puppies were playing in one room while my resident Mia and their mama Bonnie looked in.
