Luci 10-043

Profile

I would like to introduce everyone to miss Luci. Now that is Luci with an I not a y. :) This not so little girl is 6 months old and is starting to settle in from her short life of living outside. She was very scared when we first got her, she would stay low to the ground and not really move around the house. But all is changing now :) She is really starting to warm up to everything now, she is still timid/unsure of things at times, but all of that will improve in time since she is young and full of life.

She is learning to play now, not understanding the full concept of it, but picking up on it :) She is learning that chewing is fun, we just need to learn to chew on the Kong, not chew up the toys. :)

We will be going to the vet next week to check up on everything and then schedule her spay. This girl is going to make one home a very VERY happy home. She is one loving, soft girl. She is a puppy though and she will need someone that will help her learn all about her new life. But just look at these pictures and see how adorable she is :)

She is going to need a home with other dog (or dogs) to help socialize her and teach her the ways of being a dog :) More to come as we get to know this precious girl :)

Who would like to come home every day and say this..... "Luci, I'm Home!" ? :)

The better question is who WOULDN'T?? Luci is an adorable, sweet, huggable girl. In the short time that she has been at our house she is starting to thrive. She is starting to come out of her shell more and more. She is still slightly timid at times, but not as scared as when we first got her home. I have noticed that she is a little more timid around FD, but is coming around more everyday. She is running and playing more with our resident dogs, and loves to cuddle :) And she is an excellent cuddle dog! She is so soft and curly and in the winter she keeps you cozy warm :)

And the puppy side is coming out of her. There are no more toys that have stuffing in them in our home anymore :) She likes to squeek them, but when she found out she could rip them too, well that was more fun...hehe. I think she is teething, so she likes to naw on things at times. She is becoming better at going in her crate. Now when I say, "Luci crate", she will go in. Not perfect all the time, but she is learning to listen well! :) She has learned her name fairly easily, and when we are outside we have her on a long leash (so she can RUN some energy off) and it is soooooo fun watching her play and jump and play some more. She has done very well with the potty training. She has had a couple of accidents, but she catches on quick to where she is suppose to go :)

Luci WILL need a home with another dog. Our dogs have help her learn so much and I know that is what has helped her. She is a very smart dog. Since she came from a breeder, a home with a fence would be needed if you live in a city or suburbs. She is still timid at times.

Ms.Luci will need to be spayed before going to her furever home, but this girl would LOVE to meet someone in the mean time. I just know you would be so happy to have this girl in your life. She makes me and FD smile everyday :) She is going to be 7 months old on the 1st of March. Look at these pictures! Who want's to give her a wonderful birthday gift? :) Contact placement today! :)
