Lucy 10-024

Profile

**Waiting List**

Sweet Lucy came to Ragom from a South Dakota family who just didn’t have the time and love to commit to her.  She is a delightful character with a sweet disposition!  She is one year old with a good grasp of “basic skills”…she is house trained, comes when called and fetches with great enthusiasm!  She has shown respect to our two cats and is very outgoing with other dogs.

She lived outside in her previous life, so we are working through the shedding of an amazing winter coat!  She is a rich reddish color with sparkling brown eyes.  She goes to the office every day and greets all visitors in a wiggly, happy fashion.  She is a very dedicated girl, and never strays too far from my heels.  She was not accustomed to sleeping in a crate at night, but has adapted beautifully.  She is a snuggler and loves any and all attention.

Lucy just had a perfect checkup at the vet.  She is 53 pounds, has been spayed and has been microchipped.

I LOVE Lucy!

Lucy has returned to Ragom after a very brief stay with an adoptive family. She had a personality conflict with their resident dog which made it difficult for her to be incorporated into their family. She is back with our resident golden and as I write this they are snuggled up together in a giant fur ball. She can be somewhat possessive with toys, so we are working on her ‘sharing’ skills! She has a sparkling personality and has the cutest expressions that just capture your heart! She spreads tail wagging happiness where ever she goes.

Lucy has a great time in the water…she has been swimming in the chilly lake and is eager to leap in whenever she gets a chance. She has taken her namesake ‘retriever’ to heart…she will play fetch until your arm falls off. She is a high energy puppy…she needs attention and activity. She shows a real propensity for hunting. Lucy is a typical golden…she want to please, and is a sharp and eager learner.
