I am now 1 week and 3 days old. My fostermom is a nurse and she named me after one of her patients who has passed away recently. I believe that makes me ultra special cause she was such a cool, nice and considerate lady. I believe I will be too. I am the average size of the gang and I weigh in at 1lb and 10oz. Catch me as I grow next week.

I'm still the smallest at 8.5 lbs.! I went to the vet for the 1st shots and wormer. We are now at 6 weeks old, and Foster mom had to bring reinforcements to help load up all us puppies and unload at the vet. Thanks to Mary T for the extra help.
Dr. Heidi says we are all very Healthy and that our Dad must of been a big boy, cause our mom is kinda small. We have appointments set to have our spay and neuter surgeries, 5 of us on 3/19 and 5 on 3/20. Then we will just wait for our new people parents and siblings to come get us. We sure are meeting lots of nice people, who mostly say, "how do we choose, they all are so cute and perfect."
Mom has decided to hold back the milk and she is now teaching us not to bite so hard and to play nice. We're eating dry food now - Nutrisource large breed puppy food, 3 - 4 times a day and most of us are doing pretty good about going potty on the pads.
We went outside for the first time because vet Heidi says we need to get "hardened-up" a bit and go outside and learn to pee and poop on the grass. We all sure love the KUDOS and praise we get when we go potty on the grass - we hold our heads high and get so excited!

2/20/12
Weight now 4.7lbs. She is as of now, officially the smallest girl. She has gained 2.64lbs over the last 12 days. She does not appear the smallest pup, not as petite as Maggie, but equally as sweet. Most visitors are quite drawn to her as she is quite calm sitting in your lap and very comfortable with humans. She has moves - she can run forward, backward and sideways, and can play habitrail under and behind the furniture.

2/8/12-Ms. Lucy is quite the lady, she has gained just under a lb since last weight, she is so sweet and my mom's favorite, she thinks she will have good manners, she is social and comes right up to peeps and puts on the cutest smile. cutie face girl.
2/12/12-Started eating soft puppy food today, because mom, Ruby (12-372) is getting very drained of nutrients and the vet says start 1 feeding of puppy food in hopes Mom will get a little break. Anyway eating very well, no problems in this area Gobbles it all up.
2/13/12-Godmom Jen came over and gave me a new collar and tag,so I am really somebody now, a license to Play and lick your face.
