Chloe is here and she is "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" !!!! (for all you Mary Poppins fans) What a GREAT dog! Chloe is a one year old girl who has stolen my heart. Chloe ended up in our local pound because she kept wandering away from her home. After a couple of adventures, her family decided not to spring her from the pound again. Their loss is our gain. I have found Chloe to be that Golden girl that everyone wants to own. The only fault I have found with her so far is that she pulls hard on the leash when walking her, which is very easily fixed with a little training. In her former home she lived with cats, dogs, and kids. I have big and little dogs, young and old cats, but no kids. Chloe does wonderful with all my four legged, fur kids. She is very mellow for a young gal, but can turn up the energy level if you want to play fetch with her. I would love to see her do agility, flyball or even frisbee. She is very agile and can jump straight in the air to catch a ball, but, she is more then willing to be a couch potato with you too. I have included a picture of Chloe "holding my foot" as we watched TV on the couch tonight. Chloe is house trained, and does not counter surf. No storm anxiety either. She is just an all around great companion!  She is about 50 pounds and looks so slender and svelte compared to my two "coffee table" sized goldens. Chloe is that easy going kind of dog that will fit into any home. She will be patiently waiting to interview you to see if you are the home she has been dreaming of...........

Hi! Chloe here.

I made the trip to my permanent foster home in Minnesota about 5:30 Sunday. Whew, that was a long ride. I either sat and watched out window or laid down in the vehicle. When I got to my foster home my energy level was very high and you thought the energizer bunny moved fast...you should have seen me run around to relieve stress from the day. My foster even put out a tub of water for me to relax in when settling down-I love laying in water and it was very relaxing. She took a picture so you could see me. I was given a bath, good brushing, homemade treats and TLC before going to bed. I even slept in bed with foster and resident dog. First night I wasn't on schedule and had to go out at 2:30 am, but next day I made it all night.

Today I went to the vet and was brought up to date. Next week I will need to get spayed. The vet said I was around 1 year old and I have had my dew claws removed and weigh 49 pounds. I even earned two treats for being so nice with all the poking and feeling they did. From there I went with foster and resident dog to a friend's house and saw another dog there. My foster visited awhile and I explored yard on a chain attached to a pole-so many new smells. I even rubbed my back on the grass and it felt so good to lay in shade. I have really calmed down from all the excitement from moving to a new place and I like meeting people and other dogs.

I do have a tendency to chase Foster's cats, but I'm trying to do better...but when they run I just get the urge to go after them to play. Foster put up a gate so I don't bother them upstairs during day and I know what gates are and respect them. I also need a fenced yard, because when running free, I haven't learned to listen too well yet-after all I'm just one.
