Ms. Dee Dee is still a perfect house guest. No accidents, no chewing, and I honestly can say I haven't heard her bark at all. She enjoys curling up in the computer room and just hanging out with me. She would make a great work partner. The first day she tried to get up on one of my no-dog couches and I asked her nicely not to. By the 3rd time of asking her she hasn't tried again...good girl. I guess she figured out that is why there are 4 doggie beds in the family room. She is quick to pick her favorite spots. She enjoys being inside so much that I have to coax her outside with us. Sometimes, strays just need to be reassured that they can come back in. She is also eating and acting less stressed. Every night I take her to bed with me. I'm happy to report that she doesn't snore or kick. She did have a doggie nightmare but otherwise she is an awesome bed buddy.
If I had to search for something bad I would tell you that she will bury rawhides in the yard. So far it's only been in the rock, so that's no problem. Easy fix, don't let her have rawhides outside. She doesn't really chew on them yet, but I bet she will once we have her tooth removed. She is going to the vet tomorrow so we will know her weight (if she doesn't mind me giving up her girly secrets I will tell you), she will be brought up to date on shots, they will look at her tooth and remove her spay stitches. She is ready to meet her special family who will make up for all the love she missed out on while being a stray.
