Max and Luke are wonderful foster Goldens. They are 2 years and two months old. They are litter mates that have always been together. Their original family is being deployed to England for three to four years, and cannot take the Goldens with them. England has 6 month quarantine regulations. The family had two children who enjoyed the boys. Everyone got along fine. They are free spirited, high energy Goldens. When not outside running around, about a foot apart, they are indoors and in constant contact expecting non-stop pets. Ever try to put your socks on in the morning when you have a big head with gorgeous brown eyes on each of your knees?? They have had free run of the house since their arrival. They are house trained and have had no accidents. They are free fed and both eat out of an elevated feeding stand at the same time. Both drink out of the water pail at the same time. As the picture shows, when one lies down, the other places his head on the other's back. At bedtime I just say time to go to sleep and they lie down and go to sleep. They are currently being treated for ear infections and will be neutered the first week in June. They must be adopted as a pair, and will not be separated. More notes next week.
