My husband and I adopted a golden through RAGOM on January 6th 2001. His name before we adopted him was Peanut and we changed it to Madison.

Madison had a wonderful life with my husband, myself, his two older golden brothers and our dachshund/yorkie mix. From the minute we met Madison he was always full of excitement and curious about everything, he loved life!!

Madison was diagnosed with SARDS when he was 5 years old but that didn't slow him down. He still did everything he did before and sometimes even better without ever once being scared! He still went swimming, enjoyed the boat, went on vacations with us, played with other dogs and his brothers every day at work with me, and looked forward to his breakfast, lunch & dinner with some tasty treats in between.

Madison crossed the Rainbow Bridge Thursday April 15th, we believe from a Brain Tumor. Madison was only 8 1/2 years young and we wish we had more time with him!! One of our other Golden's passed away 1 1/2 years ago to Bone Cancer and the only comfort I can find right now is that Madison is not alone, he has his older brother Sota.

My Goldens inspired me to start my own business which is a fantastic Pet Boutique that they all love! Madison has put such an impact on my life that I will forever miss and love him.

Thank you for bringing "Peanut" into your organization for us to adopt! It was fate that brought us together and we will Cherish every moment we had with him! Please take a look at our website to read more about Madison and below are some fun photos.

Thank you,
Jennifer H.
