I would love to introduce you all to Scamp, although here at the house she is known as Maggie Mae, Mag Pie, Maggers, etc. She is a beautiful red PB that is 4 months old.
Maggie came to our house from a clinic in Jewell, IA. The breeder that had owned her was unable to find her and her siblings (5 others) a home so she is now a RAGOM girl. Maggie is all puppy, but in a good way. She is still getting used to our routine and the house, but I think she's doing very well.
We have started training her to sit, lay down, and shake. She can sit and lay down (if you have a treat). We have not had an accident of any kind in the house (knock on wood). She even wimpered a little earlier so we went outside and she did both jobs. Yea Maggie! She is calm but likes to play and is not rough when she does. She likes to counter surf and table surf, but is really good at listening when she is being corrected. She even listens to the 3 year old!
We are crating her at night. She will cry for a little while but settles down very quickly. She is getting along well with our resident dog Lennon (another golden) but I don't think she's too sure about our other resident dog Oden (a Shorkie). She is fine with him, but kind of looks at him like "what are you?". Kind of funny.
The clinic when I picked her up said that she had round worms but was treated for it and she has been microchipped. She goes to the vet next week so she can be rechecked and so we can continue with her vaccinations. She still needs to be spayed but we can figure that out when she meets the vet.
So if you're looking for the most beautiful girl in the world contact placement
ragom [dot] org I have added a couple of pictures but they really don't do her justice.
