| Our dear big red puppy, Mason 02-329 crossed rainbow bridge on January 26 and joined our other RAGOM dog, Anna (06-097) who passed away two years earlier on January 14.
Mason was a special dog in that he was always a gentleman. When he would see a cute female dog, he would look at you and smile and that was as far as it went. He always seemed to understand what we were feeling. He always waited for the other dogs to go outside first, then he would go out. He would come up, turn around and sit on our feet to get petted. Even when it became harder for him to get up and walk, he had to be where the action was. The granchildren would lay on him and kiss him, saying, "I love you, Mason". He knew that our grandaughter liked a certain toy of his and he would greet her at the door with that particular toy. Even when he needed help to get into the car, Mason loved his daily walks and swimming. Being the gentleman he was, he would wait for us to walk to the lake and then he would jump in. All in all Mason was a wonderful companion and the relationship deepened as I became ill and he became a senior dog. He would not leave my side and he always knew where I was.
Love you and miss our walks and times together my big red puppy. My Buddy and companion, forever in our hearts |
