Maverick was surrendered to RAGOM due to a change in the family’s work status. His foster family fell instantly in love with his goofy personality and gorgeous face. Maverick can live with other dogs and enjoys children, although due to his size he could easily knock a smaller child over. He hasn’t been tested with cats. A physical fence is optional as long as his family has a plan to keep him safe. But he will need daily physical exercise to burn off his young dog energy.

Welcome the handsome Maverick to RAGOM! Maverick was lovingly surrendered to RAGOM due to a change in the family’s work status. His foster family fell instantly in love with his goofy personality and gorgeous face.

Maverick loves all people including kids. The first night he was with us we found out that he loves to snuggle in bed and listen to story time. He is good with kids of all ages but of course should be supervised as he is a big guy at 90 pounds.

Maverick loves to go for walks and be outside any chance that he can get. His leash skills need some work as he pulls, but it has gotten better with every walk that we take.

Over the Fourth of July we had the opportunity to take Maverick to the lake and he absolutely loved swimming. We had a hard time convincing him to take a break! His future family should be active as he is better behaved when he’s had a chance to burn some energy outside.

Maverick knows sit and down but would be very easily trainable due to his love of treats. He will do anything for a treat! He is an avid counter surfer and loves to drink from the toilet. Both habits that we have been working on.

Maverick is a great young dog that needs lots of snuggles, love and attention to make him into the nest dog he can be.
