Hi Hi Hi Kenna here,
Wow⦠what a couple of weeks Iâve had. My new family is great and I think Iâm in doggie heaven. Itâs been four weeks since I was adopted and itâs so nice to get settled in. I have my own couch, crate, fenced in back yard and I get tons of loveâin.
I want to take a minute to thank everyone that took so good care of me before I was adopted. Ms. McKenna, Kay, Dave and the gang, youâre the best! Thanks Again.
We started obedience classes and boy what a first night. I met another Golden, one shitsu (ohâ¦I hope mom didnât hear me say that) and 3 other dogs. I made sure everyone knew I was there. Mom sat on the sidelines and laughed, dad didnât. Mom and Dad said I do great at home with training but when I am there, all I want to do is visit (the teacher was not very happy).
Mom is planning on sending Kay info on all natural food for her kids. My dinners are Solid Gold Hunden Flocken, canned peas and carrots, organic chicken broth, olive oil, spinach and SG canned food. My it sure is good. My mom knows some people at the HS that feeds their dogs all natural stuff. She is going to print out some info for Kay and Dave. Itâs great info and hopefully it might help other kids too⦠My ears are doing great, I chew my feet on occasion, but mom is trying different stuff to see what works. She got me some all natural shampoo that has aloe vera (whatever that is), my coat is gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous (everyone says) and soft. Maybe natural stuff would help your kids. Moms friend says a healthy immune system is a major factor in everyoneâs life. Please take a look at the stuff sheâll send you and I hope it helps you or someone else that can use the info.
I have live toys. Their names are Penny (sheâs not nice), Rado (he is fun), and Sheba-Grandma (sheâs elderly). Mom calls them cats. Whatâs a cat? Mom had a foster kitten named Linus and I tried to get to know him but mom wouldnât let me in his room.
This weekend is our first trip going up north to the cabin. I canât wait, they tell me about this boat ride to get there. Whatâs a boat? Dad said the lake water will be to cold to go swimming. Whatâs swimming? Mom is sewing my seat cover for my weekend travels; she wants to make sure I travel in comfort and keep the truck seat clean.
Check out the photos of my new fence. Itâs great. I run like a mad women, but they wonât leave me out there alone. I run up and down the stairs and through the flowers (which I guess Iâm not suppose to do). The lawn makes my paws turn green. Isnât that cool?
I guess mom made my appointment to get me spayed on May 16th, not sure what that is all about but dad says the Doc gives good treats.
Oh, gotta go. Dadâs ready for me to take him on his walk.
Love and Doggie Kisses.
Kenna
