Updates

Hi, RAGOM!

Micky has continued his enjoyment of living inside the home. Since the weather has warmed up, he has enjoyed several bonfires outside with us. Micky and our resident dogs (RDs) enjoy watching the fire from the deck so they can observe everything going on.

Micky has also learned how to play with the toys and frequently enjoys playing tug-o-war with our youngest RD at home. The two could play together for hours!

Along with all the playing, comes a very tired dog. When he has the chance to sneak away from our RDs, he is often found sleeping on a dog bed in our house. This past week, he even was willing to share his bed with our RD, who always has to sleep by another dog.

One new development with Micky is that he no longer wants to be in his kennel. He would much prefer to be able to free-roam. We tried putting him in a larger open area, but he proceeded to jump out so he could have free roam in the house. We have not had any accidents or issues with him having free roam in our home since allowing him to be left alone. He has been out for full work days without any issues, so we feel he would do better in a home where he can have free roam throughout the day and avoid being put in a kennel.

Micky gets to go on special outings with his foster mom, and last week, he was able to join the excitement at the RAGOM offices to welcome the new Turkish dogs! He found a nice bed and a plush toy in the office and enjoyed watching everything. He LOVED all the pets and people paying attention to him! He did great with all the people as well as the dogs.

Micky is still looking for his forever home! Please email application@ragom.org if you are looking for a laid-back dog who enjoys his people to add to your home!
