Mikey was found in an abandoned trailer.  There were also cats in the trailer, so he may be cat friendly.  The good news is that Mikey is of good spirits, good health and has put this all behind him.  He is very gentle.  He loves people.  He will often lay his head in my lap and give a long sigh of relief.  Mikey has no separation anxiety.  He is content on his own or laying at my feet. 
 
Mikey is an all around wonderful dog.   He is housetrained.  He does not jump on the furniture or on people.  He does not chew on anything inappropriately.  He is too short to counter surf.   Mikey loves to go on walks and walks perfectly with just a flat collar.  He takes treats very gently and waits his turn with our three resident dogs.  Mikey does not resource guard anything, and he rides great in the car. 
 
Mikey weighs 50 lbs, which is perfect for his height.  He has a really thick and soft coat of fur.  He loves to play, but enjoys snuggling too.  If you are looking for pure joy and contentment, Mikey is your dog.
