Well, I'm here to tell you that I have finally learned some manners here and have turned out to be a pretty good dog. I guess that after being an outdoor dog, I just had to learn the manners of being an indoor dog and that I can't always have things my way. I've learned that when foster mom is fixing my breakfast and supper, I have to stay out of the kitchen and on the hardwood floor. I stand just at the edge, but I do not go into the kitchen. If I forget and go into the kitchen, then all foster mom has to do it to point her finger and I go to where I am suppose to be. Foster mom and foster dad are proud of me for that. I have not started any scuffles since the two big ones shortly after I arrived. There again, I have learned that things don't always go the way I want them too. I am still crated at night and when no one is home during the day. Even if no one is going to be there for only 10-15 minutes, I used to be crated, but I am now allowed out at those times and I have been a very good girl. I am basically leaving the cats alone now. Once in a great while, I will forget, but a simple reminder that we do not bother the cats and I leave them alone. All the balls and the bones can be left out now and I no longer think that they are all mine. I still want to tear apart the woobies, so they are being kept up until I can learn that I do not tear them apart and eat them. I am not jumping up on people as much either. I've also learned that I do not have to do that to get attention and pets. Once the bitter, bitter cold and all of this snow goes away, then I will be able to go on some walks. These country roads are not very good at this time. I do run, run, run all around the backyard in this snow. So, this living inside life has turned out to be pretty good now that I have learned some manners.
