Greeting from Grand Forks, ND and a hearty welcome to Ms. Molly 12-431.  She is one of 10 puppies born to Annie 12-425 on November 22, 2012.  A hunter found momma out in the middle of nowhere and brought her home.  Two weeks later, on Thanksgiving day, she delivered the pups.  Unable to care for 11 dogs, he contacted the local shelter. They were unable to handle that many dogs so the shelter contacted Prairie Paws Rescue  out of Jamestown, ND.

They in-turn contacted RAGOM to see about placing the dogs with us, and of course, RAGOM said YES!  So, many, many, many kudos & thanks to Prairie Paws Rescue  for all their hard work in getting these wonderful dogs to a warm and safe place to grow!Molly is a lighter golden with 4 white tips on her toes.  She weighed 4.11 lbs at the vet yesterday where she received her first distemper combo vaccine, bordatella vaccine, and was dewormed.  She will need to be spayed and then she will be ready for her adoptive home.  All puppies are adorable at this age, no question.  But they come with a lot of baggage as well.  Such as continued veterinary care until their round of vaccinations is complete, and then yearly vet bills after that,  obedience training, housebreaking, chewing on everything, etc. You must be willing to commit your time, patience, finances, love, & kindness for many years for many years.  If you can do that, please contact your placement adviser about meeting this gem!

Ok, so sometimes things are just meant to happen!  This lovely family has decided to adopt a puppy from RAGOM.  They check the website and narrow in on Ms. Molly and decide she's the one for them.  They happen to have tickets to the St. Cloud State vs. Univ of North Dakota (GO SIOUX!!!)  hockey game in Grand Forks, ND the weekend of Jan 26th.  When they check to see where Ms. Molly is being fostered.....wait for it....yep!  She's in Grand Forks, ND!!!  So, as fate would have it, they travel to Grand Forks, go to a few hockey games (we won't discuss the scores) and then pick up their new girl Sunday morning to take home & surprise their children with!  It just doesn't get much better than that!!  Oh wait, yes it does....they show up at my house wearing Fighting Sioux sweatshirts!  Ha Ha Ha!!!  LOVE IT!  and....last I heard, they are thinking of naming her "Ruby Sioux"!!!  (I'm sure the kids may have other ideas, but when they left my house, it was at least in the running for optional names!)  So, CONGRATULATIONS TO THE "D" FAMILY!!!  Looking forward to lots of updates and pictures!Love,Foster mom, Jessicap.s.   Check out their sweatshirts...had to get those in the picture!!!

Good Golly, Miss Molly!  This sweetheart is a true lovey!  She was spayed yesterday and was a little slow getting around last night so it was a great excuse for her to sleep with me on the couch for a few hours!  She loves to be warm and held tightly up around your neck.  After a bit, she "wandered" down to the other end of the couch and tucked her head into the seat cushions and wiggled her bottom right into the air!  Wish I had had my camera, but I knew as soon as I moved, she'd wake up and I wanted her to sleep off her surgery.  At any rate, this little one is special!  If you are interested, please contact your placement advisor!
