8/29/06: On 8/16, Tommy tested positive for Parvo and treated by his vet. On 8/22, he was tested for heartworm/lyme and Erlichea and all the tests came back negative. On 8/25, I picked him up from the vet.

I have had him for about a week now and he is doing very well. He did have considerable swelling after the neuter, but was very good about leaving it alone and it is looking much better. He does seem to have some soft stools, but I think that is due to all the meds and then changing foods, etc.

He is pretty well behaved, not a counter surfer, and has not had one accident in the house. He respects the baby gates and is really very mellow. He does seem to know the command sit and comes when you whistle for him. Other than that, he is in need of some obedience training - I think he would do well. He very much wants to please people and also gets along great with my dog.

Tommy is really a sweetheart and he needs to be adopted before we get too attached to him!
