2/25/07: Neosho has made it to wintry Apple Valley, MN. Neosho is a 3 week old little boy – he will be 4 weeks on the 1st of March. He has a birth date of February 1st, 2007. He will be ready to go home on March 30th, 2007.

Neosho was named after the town in Missouri where he was held him after the auction for a puppy mill that was going out of business. It is a very small town but has one of the most fantastic rescue women I have ever met. Gail took these little guys and cared for them over night for us and we thank our lucky stars. We figured it would be fitting to name everyone after a city that we drove through when we rescued them. It was a 9 hour trip and everyone made it beautifully. We are so proud of the new kids on the block.

Neosho is the cutest puppy around and boy does he love to play with toys. Whenever they come out to play in the full kitchen he is gone. He scouts out all the toys and pushes them around and just has fun. He also does the puppy bow when he gets ready to pounce on someone. Sophee loves playing with Neosho and is very gentle with him.

Neosho went to the vet today and weighed 3.89 lbs. He is a very healthy little boy and he is doing great for his age. The vet said to go ahead and let these pups all eat mush since they are SO big. Neosho also got his first dose of de-worming. This is given to all puppies since worms can pass from mom to pup.

Neosho will need to find that special family that will socialize him and bring him to a couple of classes so he can learn his manners from a professional. Neosho loves to talk about things and you should not be surprised when you hear him talking while he plays with his toys.
