Noah is a 2-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever. He came to RAGOM because his owners knew we would find him a safe and loving home. Noah has been well loved and taken care of.
Noah did well at his vet appointment and weighs in at a healthy 70 pounds. He is microchipped and is up to date on all his vaccinations and preventatives. His neuter appointment is at the end of this week. He was a perfect gentleman riding in the car to his appointments.
Noah loves his food and eats very fast, so he has been eating his food from a muffin pan in his kennel to slow him down. He does not like to stay in his kennel when we are gone, so he is gated off in an a safe area of the house and respecting the baby gate in place.
He also loves going for walks, but needs to work on his walking etiquette. We have been using a harness to keep him from pulling. He loves walking on the snow banks and rolling in the snow on his walks.
He is young and has a lot of energy, so he will need daily walks and exercise in his forever home. He loves playing fetch and will bring the ball back and drops it at my feet.
Noah does very well when being groomed, but he will growl if he is hugged or thinks he’s being hugged. He would do best in a home with older children who can understand his dislikes and adults that have had experience with dogs. Despite his dislikes of hugs, he is a loving, happy dog.
