What a beautiful dog! This is Olie, pronounced "Oh! Lee!". He is an 11-month old neutered male. He is currently fostered in Stratford, IA and loves the autumn weather here.

Olie knows several commands. He is faithful to his name. He is good at "sit", but it's hard for him because he's always wiggling. He will "lay down" if there's a treat involved.

Olie sometimes forgets that humans are the pack leaders, so he's been spending time with the "alpha" human and is learning beautifully! He is SO trainable. He has shown no aggression. He does have a hard time keeping all four paws on the ground, though.

Olie has plenty of energy. So we spend a lot of time playing fetch. Olie would fetch all day long. He is not great at returning it to you, but he knows he should so he's getting much better. He seems to know how to walk on a leash, but dang it's hard to walk slowly here in the wooded hills during autumn.

Olie is very "birdie". He loves to fetch. He's got lots of energy. He's very trainable. He's young and strong. Hmmm, any ideas how he'd like to spend the rest of his life? Are you an avid runner? Are you an avid hunter? How about agility work? Are you looking for a great dog that is still young enough to learn lots of new tricks? Please contact RAGOM about giving Olie a forever home.

Hello ALL! Olie again.

Just had a little minute to sit down and jot you good people a few notes on what's been going on lately with me.  I have been doing really great at my fosters, they have been teaching me some new commands and getting me out for really long walks.  In between I pretty much play with the  resident dogs, which I really enjoy.  I'm still a pup at 1 year old, but I am learning to be calmer and starting to just relax and lay down, rather being in motion all the time.

If there is anyone out there that likes outside activities. I'm the guy for you!  I need to wear off my energy and I love the outdoors!  My fosters always say a tired dog is a happy dog and they're right.  I still have a few puppy traits, but guess what I'm still a puppy and will grow out of them with the right guidance.

Here I am!  Can you see me?

I love pictures!

Olie here again;

Just wanted to update everyone on how it's been going here.  I have finally settled in with my foster parents and resident dogs.  It's been fun on a daily basis, I've played with the resident dogs, we walk everyday, and I have even been given a bath, which I really enjoyed.  I had so much fun that I ran with the towel to keep it away from my foster parents.  Too funny!!

It's just great here, but I still would like a home of my own, but I can just feel it that I am going to find my forever home soon.  I have included some pictures too.

Have a really nice day!

Olie

Hi All! This is Olie writing from Owatonna, MN.

I have just come to Owatonna and I have 2 resident dogs to play with and I love to play!!! It has been going just great here, I've been able to play ball, take walks and getting to know my foster family. I am so eager to find a forever home that I can call my own.

I adjust well and learn very quickly. At first, I couldn't go down stairs really well and now well, I'm up and down the stairs all the time. I am all UTD with all my shots, heartguard and frontline. I'm weighing in at about 71 lbs., that may sound big, but I'm a real teddy bear.

Have to go now it's playtime! OLIE
