Poppy 11-119

Profile

Poppy, who is one of THE cutest 8 month old golden's I have ever met, has joined the RAGOM family. This little red headed beauty not only has looks, but a perfect golden personality as well!

Poppy came from a well loved home, and you can tell. She is potty trained and crate trained, loves to give kisses and cuddle, and is great with her current fur siblings, another golden and cats. She listens, but sometimes talks back to me (usually when I am trying to get her ready to go outside on a walk). Overall, she's a quiet pup, no excessive barking, just likes to talk occasionally to you.

I only have a few pictures, as most of them I took she was in motion, and just a blur. Poppy the puppy is adorable and will steal your heart in NO time. She loves to go on walks, and with moderate correction doesn't pull on the leash, loves to play fetch, and is always ready to wrestle with our golden. Poppy also loves car rides and is not destructive of items that are not her toys. She's curious about the cats, but hasn't really bothered them at all. She sleeps in her crate at night, and was crated during the day previously, although has done well with free roam of my kitchen when I'm at work.

Poppy would do great with a family who has time to help her burn off her energy, as she still is a puppy, and has lots of it (along with lots of kisses). She gets along great with other fur siblings, but I think she would do just fine in a home as the only pup also. She is an easy going dog, and any family who gets her will be lucky. She knows she's cute, and does this thing with her ears when you talk to her, very expressive! She may need an obedience class, she knows some commands, but a refresher for her would be good. We've been working on "sit" before we go outside, but sometimes she gets a little talkative with me, and it takes a few tries.
