Meet Ian. He was just born on February 4th, 2008 at 6:15pm. He weighed 15.2 ozs. He has been eating almost non stop since he was born. Today he still weighs 15.2 ozs. He is a little cutie!!!

Meet Ian. He was just born on February 4th, 2008 at 6:15pm. He weighed 15.2 ozs. He has been eating almost non stop since he was born. Today he still weighs 15.2 ozs. He is a little cutie!!!
It's amazing how fast the puppies are growing. Ian weighs just over 9 lbs. He is still nursing but also eating and drinking more and more out of the dog dishes, just like a big boy. He loves to play with his toys and with his sister. Napping is pretty important too.
Ian is getting cuter every day! He now weighs 5 1/2 lbs. He has just started toddling around and play biting his mom and his sister. He still spends the majority of his time sleeping and eating but is also starting to show us a little bit of his unique personality. He actually became interested in his mom, Nicely's bone yesterday. He sniffed it and tried to chew it which was really funny because the bone was almost as big as he is! We will need to move the whole family into the larger whelping box soon as the puppies are starting to creep out of the smaller one (and of course they can't get back in without help).
Both puppies (Ian and Mia) opened their eyes recently. They're getting so big. They both weigh almost 4 lbs each. I've already clipped their sharp little toenails once. It's about time to clip them again. I'm sure Nicely would agree. These two pups are very popular. They entertain many visitors almost everyday.
It's amazing how fast Ian is growing. Today he is 11 days old. Both puppies weigh just over 2 lbs each, more than doubling in size. They still haven't opened their eyes yet, but any day they will. They are doing great. Nicely 08-002 can take breaks now. She doesn't have to feed her pups quite as often. The other two dogs are showing an interest in them, especially our resident 9 month old Doberman. He loves the puppies and is surprisingly gentle with them. Watch for more updates soon.
