Rex is such a sweet, loving boy! He has very few typical characteristics of a dog who has lived in a commercial breeding facility. Living in a house is a new experience for him and he is curious about everything. 

Rex follows the lead of our male resident dog most of the time. He actually looks to our boy to see what he should do and often mimics his behavior. He loves, loves, loves attention! He loves to be petted and will offer kisses frequently, and he loves everyone he has met and they have loved him.

Rex is healthy and has been neutered and microchipped. He's now up to date with all of the necessary vaccinations. He did have an ear infection in one ear and was treated with ear drops. He eats well and is on no special food. He sleeps all night on a dog bed in our bedroom. 

Rex gets along well with the other four dogs in the house. He loves toys and chasing a ball. He really likes anything made of cloth so he has stolen towels, clothes, really anything made of cloth and started chewing on these items. 

Rex is like having a toddler around, so everything made of cloth has to be kept out of his reach! He walks fairly good with a halter. Walking on a leash is new to him, so it’s taken him awhile to get the hang of it. 

As you can tell, Rex is a very special guy!
