Shanna’s puppies are doing well - there are 6 girls and 4 boys.  We lost the 5th boy during delivery.  These pups do not have names yet, but very soon they will.  The puppies weighed in at .75 to 1 pound.

Toes 07-277 is also pictured here with Shanna and her puppies because she is one of them now and she weighs 1.6 pounds.

These puppies will be ready to go home around June 24th – if you are interested in meeting them please email placementatragom [dot] org.  I will start individual updates at the end of May, but if you would like to talk about them, we can do that!

Wow has Rex changed!  He is huge and with the most incredible face.  I love this little boy more and more everyday!  Rex will be going home to live on the farm in just a few weeks and I am sure he will fit in right away.

Rex is one strong and well adjusted boy!  He will come running up to you and try to climb on your leg just to make sure he gets enough love.  Rex is ready to go home around the 20th of June – can you believe it is almost time!?

Tonka – Rex – Turns 4 weeks tomorrow!  Can you believe it?  I can’t, these guys are great puppies and now they are working on potty training.  We built them a little puppy ramp so they can get out the door and on to the deck.  It is so fun!!!

If the puppies can eat outside they have their meals in the great outdoors and than like clock work, everyone potties!  Yep it’s true; we stay outside until every one finish their business, than we bring them in so we can hose down the area.  Once that is done if they are still playing we will bring them back out to play for a while.  This is morning two, of a clean pen when we got up in the morning!  I just love that!  Lots of little pee spots but that is so easy to clean up while they are eating, no piles to clean is awesome!  These guys are the best pups around.

Okay enough of the bragging – we have so much to cover with these little guys.  Rex went to the vet and weighed in at 3.88 pounds.  Dr. L. thought he was doing great!  He got another dose of de-wormer and won’t be seen now until he is 7 weeks to get micro chipped and given his first set of shots.

Rex would love to have a sponsor if you are willing to be it!

Tonkabab has found his forever home and will be joining Chuck, Brenda and family in a few short weeks – well 4 weeks to be exact.  Tonka is doing well and eating lots of mush and seems to enjoy it.  Tonka is growing like a week and eats the most mush of anyone.  He is always the first to start and ends by falling asleep in the bowl.

Tonka has not gotten his new name as of yet, but I am sure we will hear soon and we think he will have a great new home.  Tonka will continue on the good food and continue to grow.  Tonka and all the pups will be heading to the vet on Friday to get check out again and make sure we do not have any more nasty worms.

Tonka would like to thank everyone for thinking about him and wanting to adopt him, but he thinks he found the best family around!  Thank you!!!

Tonka is doing great and loves to eat, sleep, cuddle and poop.  Maybe even in that order.  Tonka is the biggest male now, and boy is he a happy little guy!

He is looking for his forever home, but may have a nibble on the home of his dreams.  He will find out this weekend.  So be ready, he is a true keeper and a total love bug.

Wish Tonka luck!

Tonka is doing great and is growing by leaps and bounds.  We went to the vet yesterday and he now weighs 1.37 pounds which is the smallest of the boy puppies.  He received his first dose of de-wormer and the vet said his heart and lungs sound great and he has no signs of a heart murmur.  Yea for Tonka!

Tonka is doing wonderful with bottle feeding and he also loves to try and get milk from mom.  When it happens we are very happy, but when the puppies are crying and trying to get milk we know we have to help.  Tonka has always been a great eater so we hope he will continue to gain weight.

Tonka will go back to the vet in a few weeks to get another dose of de-wormer and than he won’t go back until he is 7 weeks for shots and micro chipping.

Tonkabab (boy pup) or better known as Tonka was the final dog to be born of 11 pups.  He made his way into the world by C-section at the Apple Valley emergency room.  Tonka was born on 4/29 at 3:38 in the morning.  He will always have a Red collar on when we take pictures.

Tonka was born at 1 pound and one week later he is gaining weight and currently weighs 1.3 pounds.  Tonka does not mind the formula but he would rather have mom’s milk.

Thanks for checking on Tonka – he will be ready at the end of June for adoption.

Shanna pups are doing great – I just have one picture of where they all go when we have to bring Shanna out – as you can see this won’t last much longer – they are already out growing one basket!  Everyone weighs over 1 pound now which is great news.  Now we just have to keep things going in the right direction.
