Riggs came to us two weeks ago – as you can see from his photo he is a handsome, lovely boy. He was picked up as a stray but I’m not certain that he was truly enjoying that life of adventure. Since he’s been with us, he’s enjoyed the comfort of sleeping on a dog bed, regular meals, and lots of attention.

He is a very loving dog and a healthy dog, weighing at 84 pounds and about 4 years old. You might not be able to tell from the photos but Riggs is big – really big. We think he’s a golden retriever and Newfoundland mix. His coat is lovely and he has a wonderful gentleness about him. He’s calm, quiet, and charming.

Perhaps you can tell that we’ve really fallen for Riggs; we think he’s exceptional and have made the decision to adopt him. We’re extremely happy and we think he is too!
