1/5/06: Wow, on top of Peyton 05-436 and Packer 05-437 arriving last night, another dog was dropped off at my house! Riley is a beautiful 6 year old male full bred Golden. I don't see even a strand of gray, so I'm wondering if he might be a just a littler younger. He does, however, look like he's got a thyroid problem....thick neck and EXTREMELY overweight. His family has moved into a tiny, tiny home and there's no room for him. Wonderful dog! Been an outside dog - foot was run over by a dump truck at some time (no ill effects that I can see....favors it when it's really cold) and a small portion of his tongue was bit off from a snapping turtle. Riley is great with kids, other dogs and cats. Wow....my house is full of Gold!!! I plan to take him to the vet on Monday with Peyton and Packer. He's a great, playful beautiful boy!!
