Hello everyone!

Sorry it's been awhile since I've updated Riley's page. We have learned a LOT about his personality in the last couple of weeks so we have a better idea what kind of forever home he needs.

• Riley is very much a puppy with a TON of energy. He needs a home that will help him burn it off on a daily basis. He loves to play with the other dogs, so a romp at the dogpark would be great for him to burn off a little energy and socialize with the locals. Daily walks or runs are great.
• Riley learns very quickly but needs obedience classes and lots of reinforcement since he can sometimes be easily distracted because of his puppiness. He loves to be outside but those pesky birds and squirrels taunt him into barking. Let me tell you, the neighbors do not appreciate that at 6:00 am so he needs supervision when outside to remind him to be quiet. He corrects easily, just needs reminding.
• Riley loves his kennel. He goes in on his own occasionally just to nap. When he sees me getting ready to leave for work in the morning, he'll just stand in there waiting for me to close the door. He is kenneled when I am at work so he is not tempted to be naughty. He sleeps on the floor in my room with the other dogs and is not destructive during the night. I sleep with the door closed though so he doesn't wander.
• Riley respects baby gates and has learned not to go into the kitchen even though the gate is down now. He has access to all other areas of the house but that the kitchen is my space and my space only.
