Rocco (Henry 09-231)

Profile

Henry is a golden retriever/lab mix. Approximately 9 weeks old. He is cream colored.

He is a typical puppy. Checking everything out and following us everywhere. He loves to snuggle up but is also content just being in the same room with you.

Henry enjoys playing with our two goldens. He has a hard time keeping up with them but he has fun chasing after them.

Along with this bundle of cuteness comes alot of responsibility. Henry will need a family to teach him right from wrong.

If you are interested in Henry and are an approved applicant please contact your placement advisor.

Updates

Hello,

I wanted to give an update on our Ragom puppy. I had a dream of having a therapy dog, and my Large Munsterlander, as wonderful as she is, is a little shy in new situations. So I embarked on the "search" for just the right new addition. After searching for over a year, and looking at many dogs, I took a huge chance and expressed interest in a puppy that was being fostered in Iowa. We took the long trek from the Twin Cities and brought home "Henry" on June 12th, 2009. We gave him a new name....Rocco. I started working with him early and he proved to be so smart! But he also had that "something" extra. He had a remarkably kind and gentle spirit, and he was just so loving. After his obedience training, we started training to become a pet partner team. In March, he passed his exam so we are now a Delta Society registered pet partner team! The photo below is on our badge. We will soon begin our work in a Hospice.

Some may just say that we just "adopted" a dog on June 12th a couple of years ago, but for me, my life was forever changed that day. And through the work he will do, he will touch the lives of so many. I believe this is just the beginning of many great things to come for us and I will keep you updated!

He also has a blog~below is the link!
