7/10/06: Rocket is a stray blonde 2 year old male, 63 lbs (needs to gain 3-5 lbs, lucky boy!), with yeast infections in both ears. He has very raw skin around his eyes, all 4 of his feet and his chest. He is now microchipped and has had some of his vaccinations - the vet will do the rest as he stays longer. He is on anti-itch meds and we're waiting for the results from his heartworm test.

Rocket is in isolation with a non-confirmed case of mange (the vet took 3 razor scrapings but found nothing). Because of this, the vet has asked that we do not visit him - not even to take him out for a walk :( They will take skin scrapings again next Monday and if nothing is found, he can be scheduled for his neuter.

Rocket Man is enjoying his stay with other dogs to play with. He is eating very well, loves to retrieve the tennis balls and soft toys. Sleeps on the futon, quite all night. He climbed out of puppy play pen to join the three others while I went babysitting for four hours. Didn’t want to be left out of the fun.

He has chosen his new family, with yes 5 kids. He is so happy! We are working on a pick up date that works with both of our schedules this week. Thanks, RAGOM, for getting him in good shape. New photos attached, he is going to be handsome when his hair all grows in. ("What do you mean 'when'--I am now," he says.)

This two-year-old neutered blond male is at my home in St. Louis Park, and doing fine with Shelby and Ford and daycare Golden Sally. He requires a basic obedience class and a family to call his own. Rocket Man weighs 63 lbs and could stand an extra 3-5 more.
