3/26/07: Rose, daughter to May 07-125, came into this world to much better conditions than if she would have been born 2 days earlier.  Rose’s mom came from a puppy mill.  The day before she was born, she was picked up and driven 6 hours to MN to come to my house!  Unfortunately for her, the delivery wasn’t so easy so some of the puppies were born by c-section at the emergency vet in the middle of the night. 

Since I can no longer tell which puppies were born here and which were born at the hospital, we weighed and colored them again as soon as we got home and Rose was 1 pound 1 ounce.  The puppies ranged from 14 ounces to 1 pound and an ounce.

My fiancé and I are getting married in May, which is where Rose’s mom got her name.  We decided to give all of her puppies wedding names, so Rose is named after the many colored roses in our wedding!
