Beautiful Rosie was adopted the beginning of May. This lucky girl will get to live in a home with a fully fenced in yard and have a fur brother to spend her days with. Her new mom has the summers off, so they will get to spend their days together at the lake swimming, hiking, and going on kayak adventures.
Rosie is already enjoying her new family's deck and retrieving tennis balls non-stop. Keep smiling, Rosie!

Rosie here. Foster Mom said I could write my own update. She's been super busy with work, but we still go on lots of walks and she always has time to throw the ball for me. I love retrieving balls, and if it's a squeaky ball I have to squeak it for a while before I drop it. Sometimes I chew on it too long and it goes in the garbage. That's okay. Foster Mom just brought home four new ones the other day.
I also love, love, love hanging outside. It's so fun barking at the walkers on the path by the house (Foster Mom says my loud barking can sound really scary) and I love laying on the deck. Sometimes I wait until Foster Mom entices me with a treat before I will come in.
Foster Mom tells everyone that I am a sweetie and just a cuddle bug. I like to give hugs too, but Foster Mom says I need to keep all fours on the floor. I am still working on that one.
Sometimes I can get a bit barky and growly on walks if we come across another dog that is barking or gets in my personal space. Foster Mom gives me a correction to stop and we have to just keep walking and ignore the other dog. I am working on this too.
I have to get back outside and lay in the sun!
Puppy kisses and hugs,
Rosie

Beautiful Rosie was surrendered to RAGOM by a loving family who wanted her to be in a home without young children. Toddler-age children can be unpredictable and that can cause Rosie to be a bit nervous, so children in the home must be age 8 or older.
Rosie is just a dream girl to foster. She knows to wait by the door for potty time, she sleeps on her dog bed at night, and she knows the commands of sit, down, and shake. She also takes treats very gently.
Rosie loves being outside and her favorite pastime is to play fetch. She will play until your hands are too cold or it's too dark outside, and she will still want to stay out to play. She also loves to hang out on the deck and lay and roll in the snow.
We currently take two walks a day and go for about 3 miles each day. We take longer walks on the weekend. She uses a walking harness and she walks very well with it. If you have already fallen for this beautiful redhead make sure you have plans to keep her mind happy with daily exercise.
Rosie gets along with other dogs, but she can also be an only dog. She’s a little too interested in cats, so her forever home should be cat free. A physical fence is optional.
This sweetheart had a wellness check on Wednesday. She is all up to date with vaccinations and her heartworm test and fecal were negative. She is a very healthy girl, but could lose a couple of pounds. Same here, Rosie!
