Rufus 12-166 is a 17 month male purebred Golden Retriever. He is neutered and microchipped. Rufus is one big boy! Coming into RAGOM 81lbs and not over weight! Rufus arrived into RAGOM from Wisconsin where he was an outside pet. He had free roam of the yard all day as they had invisible fencing, and at night he would stay inside his dog house. Rufus is not house trained but we haven't had any accidents yet and he does let me know now if he needs to go outside by standing at the door. Rufus' SO moved to a busier part of town and said since he has shown food aggression, she was much too worried he might bite someone that wants to come up and pet this big love bug. Rufus absolutely loves all ages of people. I am not sure how he does with other animals yet. He will only eat his food if he is being hand fed at the moment, and I am most certain it is still due to the fact that this is all an unfamiliar place.

Rufus loves to swim! He will swim in the pool all day if he could. He is catching on quite well with training. He knows sit, shake, lay down, stay (sometimes.) He gets so excited when meeting new people that he will jump on them wanting attention, but we are working on this. He just wants love ;)

Rufus is super excited to announce he has met his furever family and is now adopted!

Little Rufus (not so little) is LOVING his new life! He has adjusted so well coming from being an outside only dog to now living in luxury :) Everyone that come and meets Rufus melts and falls in love with him! He even has his own little fan club. Rufus just loves affection and is the biggest love bug ever. He's a goof too! Rufus loves to float on a floaty in the pool...who would have thought! He has a little yellow ducky that he babies and swims around with, very adorable. Rufus is the most happy 17 month old pup I have ever seen, always smiling and putting a smile on others. I couldn't have asked for a more special, perfect Rufus :)
