1/12/07: Hi, Sadie here. After a car ride (which I was wonderful with) I lay down most of the time, with the occasional glance out the window. I made it to my foster home and am checking everything out and exploring. I found the basket of toys that the people here have put out for me to play with. There was this great thing that had a treat in the middle, and boy it has kept me busy for the past hour or more. I get up and throw it a bit and cry as if the treat is going to come out the rest of the way, I just can?t figure it out. I just went to the door and cried to go out and I had my toy in my mouth. I took it outside with me as I did my business and came right back in with it in my mouth and went back to chewing on the toy. I?ve included a picture of me with that treat wrapped in the middle of that toy thing.

Tomorrow I am going to the vet to get microchipped and the quick once-over. I am hoping to have an update over the weekend for everyone to let you know how we are all doing. My foster parents and I are trying to get to know each other, but they did say that I am the perfect size and I love to be petted and LOVE attention. So stayed tuned for updates everyone.

PS: I am great with kids. Foster mom says that I will see some of the nephews this weekend, so she will update everyone more.
