Cider has been adopted! I am so excited for her! They are changing her name to Sadie, which Foster Mom loves.
She has gone to an amazing home. She already loves them so much and has warmed up very well to the two kids that she gets to grow up with. She will get to grow up running and playing out in the country and enjoying the best Golden Life ever!
Better yet is that she will not be too far away from Foster Mom, so Foster Mom will get to see how she keeps growing, and possibly even doggie-sit!
I am so excited for Sadie and her new family; she really hit the jackpot!

Hello, RAGOM-land!
Foster Mom apologizes for no recent updates on Ms. Cider. See, Foster Mom is currently in school, while working full-time, while fostering dogs and training service dogs. Currently, Foster Mom is studying for her finals, and as you can see in the pictures, Cider “helps” Foster Mom study.
Cider is doing great and is growing like a weed! She has learned that she needs to sit before she can get her food and also before she can go outside. We are working on the “stay” command as well. The other dogs in the house are helping her to learn in her training, as she wants to be just like the big kids.
She has learned all about Christmas decorations and that we need to leave them alone, so she has also learned the “leave it” command rather quickly… as most puppies in our house do!
“Leave it” means a few things, like to not sniff something we shouldn’t, not chew on something we of course shouldn’t, or leave a foster sibling alone when being an pesky little sibling. She actually does great with all the decorations in the house!
Hopefully, Foster Mom can get some more pictures soon of this adorable, fast-growing little girl!

Miss Cider is an (as you can see with your own eyes!) adorable 3-month-old Goldendoodle. She was surrendered to RAGOM from a commercial breeder. Cider had never lived in a home before, but I can tell you that she has taken to it like a fish to water!
Cider was a little timid when we first got her. She wasn’t too sure about us humans, but she absolutely started to shine right away when she saw all the other dogs in our home! Then, all of a sudden, she was tail wags and little barks!
It took her a couple of days to come out of her shell more with Foster Mom and Dad, but she would settle in our laps and get some love and attention while observing everything.
Now that Cider has been here for a couple of weeks, we have been able to get to know her a little better and we now see the full-on puppy stage!
She loves to play with the two German Shepherd puppies (aged 1 year and 7 months respectively) that are also fosters in the home, and they have really brought her out of her shell. They are helping her be a puppy while learning the rules of the house.
You see, Foster Mom also fosters and trains service dogs for veterans that come back from war with PTSD or other traumatic brain injuries, so Cider is seeing how structure and fun while training go hand in hand. We all like a well-trained pup.
The other dogs in the house are so used to fosters that they make the perfect mentors for new fosters like Cider. They all eat together and run and play together, and then pass out on the floor to nap together. If they would sit still long enough, I have a feeling I would have way to many pictures of her!
Ms. Cider has a vet appointment on the November 20, to get a once-over and get ready for the new life ahead of her.
I should also note that she has (knock on wood) never had an accident in the house or in her kennel since we have had her at home. What a smart little girl!
