Profile

Stella was surrendered to RAGOM by a family who had hoped to breed her. But this petite gal decided after one litter that she’d had enough and is now looking for her forever home. Stella’s family must include another medium to large, confident dog so Stella can continue gaining confidence in her new life. She can live with cats and with children age 5 or older. To keep her safe, her yard must have a physical fence.

Stella—now known as Sadie—has hit the jackpot when it comes to her forever home. She has very loving human parents who will be at home with her all day, an older fur sibling, two dog friends to play with at the lake, and a new Goldendoodle next-door neighbor. She is a happy girl!

Stella is a purebred Golden Retriever and a perfect size for many adopters. She is a smaller 3-year-old female but, make no mistake, has plenty of attitude.

Stella came from a family that wanted to use her for breeding but she wasn't having any of it! She had one litter and called it quits. She put her paw down and as a result came into RAGOM and will now have the chance to find a loving family that just wants her with no strings attached.

I am really this cute with a brown row of fur on my nose that adds undeniable character!

Stella is completely house trained and has had access to the entire house since day 3 with no issues. She has not chewed anything and gets along well with my two resident Golden boys, cat, and the young boy in her first home. She is a great watch dog and runs to the window or door when she hears something of interest or when my dog boys think there is something worth getting up for.

She definitely has a voice but uses it appropriately. I'm used to big woofs and her bark is definitely higher pitched, as it should be since she's a little girl dog. Following a few of her barks I heard her let out a little howl which was interesting and certainly adds to her uniqueness. She also LOVES to run around with squeaky toys.

Stella is up to date on her shots and was just spayed; therefore, the cone that she isn't crazy about but has figured out how to tolerate. What a good girl!

Five days of this cone will be plenty! It is not my best look!

Stella loves to run and play in her fenced yard and take long walks. Her forever home should have a fenced yard and a companion dog to help continue growing her confidence. She is a little timid but with a resident dog has a lot of courage.

She is absolutely delightful and really an easy dog to care for. She is very happy to lay down by your side while watching TV or taking a nap on the couch.
