Sandy just arrived at my house today. He is a 4 year old neutered male and a VERY sweet boy. He came to RAGOM from a very loving family. They made the difficult decision to give him up so that he could get the knee surgery which he definitely needs. He injured his right knee while doing some enthusiastic running in the back yard. When he was evaluated by an orthopedic specialist, it was discovered that he needs surgery to fix his right knee. When that one is healthy, his left knee will need surgery because it is prone to the same injury.I will be getting him to the vet this week and try to get his healing process underway. He has taken the excitement of meeting my three dogs in stride. He loves to ride in the car, and before his injury, he loved to play fetch. (One day he will again!)Sandy came with lots of stuff. His own tub of food, bed, toys, LOTS of food, toothbrushes, X rays and his own memory book. One look at that book and you know that he has been a very loved dog!

He has lived with kids and cats and loves them. He will be a WONDERFUL addition to a family. As soon as he is done with his healing, he will be in for a GReat forever home.
