Profile

Sasha was lovingly surrendered to RAGOM when her owners experienced health issues and could not provide the exercise and training a young dog needs. She is a healthy, energetic girl. Sasha can live with children, but with her energy might bump into little ones. Sasha can live with dogs who are tolerant of her puppy antics. A fence is optional if a solid plan is in place to keep her safe. Sasha is looking for an active home that will provide exercise and training to guide her to be a mannerly house dog.

Sasha is settling nicely into her new forever home. A deeply felt thanks to her family for trusting RAGOM to find her a home where she would be loved for her whole life.

We are a couple with no kids and just Sasha so she is the center of our attention. She is a bundle of Golden Retriever puppy energy! She loves every person and dog she meets. She has a friend just up the road in Paddington (17-179TD). They tire each other out. Sasha also loves the Corgi on our block, Cooper.

Sasha has the run of most of the house and sleeps in our room in her kennel or under our bed. She enjoys her food and eats well. She has no shortage of toys or foam beds.

She will also conk out in some strange positions…

I think her favorite place is the back yard. We have 0.2 acres fenced in for her to run in. We also take her on many walks as well. We look forward to many years of adventures with Sasha.

We want to welcome Sasha to RAGOM land. Sasha is an 8-month-old female Golden Retriever. We have had her in foster care for about one and a half weeks.

Sasha goes into the crate during work hours and at night. She is house trained but we are still learning her bathroom signals, so we go out a lot. When we are home, we use a baby gate to keep Sasha within earshot.

Sasha will sit nice for treats and loves to play with other dogs. She enjoys going for walks and walks very well when using a Gentle Leader. We usually walk once or twice a day. We are also working on the “come” command. She likes to fetch tennis balls and enjoys a good game of tug with people or other dogs. She enjoys being chased by both humans and dogs.

Sasha has a lot of puppy energy and mischievousness. She will grab socks and shoes if left to her own devices. She likes to shred her stuffed toys and bedding. Both of these behaviors are slowly being corrected with training. Sasha will need continued training and activity.

I do not think a resident dog is necessary. If the home has a dog, it must be willing to play or put up with the antics of a puppy. Sasha enjoys kids of all ages, but because of her energy level, can knock over little ones.

Sasha's prospective family will need to be willing to take her for walks and continue her training. She is still a pup and needs to learn how to be a great Golden family member. Let us know if you are interested in learning more about this sweet pupper.
