Scooby Doo 07-387

Profile

Meet Maggie and Scooby.  Maggie is 13.5 years young and Scooby is 3 years old.  Maggie and Scooby joined the RAGOM Family due to their humans accepting a missionary assignment in Austria.  It's very obvious that Maggie and Scooby are loved and will be sadly missed by their family.  Their family asked that RAGOM adopt them out together as they felt Maggie and Scooby would be lonesome without each other.  Maggie and Scooby are wonderful fur-kids with great manners - and beautiful and handsome to boot!  I've only heard Maggie bark when I tell her to "speak" for her dinner (instructions from her former human) and I don't believe I've heard Scooby bark yet.  As you can see from the picture, Scooby uses Maggie as his pillow when they sleep.  Obviously Maggie's snoring doesn't keep him awake :)

They are going to the vet to get a once over and a microchip this week, and I'll write more after that.  Aren't they beautiful?

I am happy to report (through a tear or two) that Maggie and Scooby went home with their forever family tonight. Talk about a tug on the heart strings. Both Maggie and Scooby were the most awesome house guests. And, of course, Maggie, being the irresistible senior she is, completely stole my heart. Maggs and Scooby are going to be very happy in their new home. They will have a brand new fenced yard, a lake for Maggie to do water aerobics and for Scooby to retrieve until his heart's content, and a nature preserve nearby that they'll frequent with their family. They get a stay at home mom, dad, 7 year old human boy and 4 year old human girl to give them all the lovin' they can handle. Check out the family picture :) Scooby's face looks a little goofy - maybe he was in mid-chew on a treat :) I sure am going to miss those two - what precious, precious fur-kids! Of course, they are welcome to visit any time!!! Maggs, don't forget to "speak", and Scoobs, don't forget to shake, with both paws, before dinner. And, give lots of kisses to your humans to let them know how much you appreciate their love and kindness. Be good kids! Love, Foster Mom XOXO

Hi World! It's Maggie and Scooby, the dynamic duo! All is well in foster care. We get to run and play, eat healthy, and we're even getting a spa session next week.  Maggie snores, but she makes a great pillow (Scooby speaking). Scooby is a great little brother - he likes to make sure I'm settled and comfy before he heads upstairs to bed with the other pups - unless there is a treat - I'll lost to a peanut butter bone :) (Maggie speaking).   That's about it for now. Oh, wait. Here's a picture of the biggest pup in the house (Maggie) next to the littlest pup in the house (Bailey). Cute, huh?  We'll check back soon! Love, Maggs and Scooby

Hi There.  Scooby checking in.  I saw Dr. Julie on Tuesday for my once over and I'm in great shape.  I'm a lean 75 lbs, and real looker.  I'm microchipped now so I can always be tracked back to RAGOM where Miss Jane will get me reunited with my forever family should I wander off.

Not much to say about my visit with Dr. Julie other than she thought I was a handsome, healthy boy, and that some deserving family is going to get a real gem in me.  I'm quiet, I'm house-trained, I take my treats very gentle (too gentle foster mom thinks - I smell them real good before I even think about taking them from her hand).  The rest of the gluttons here just look at me like I'm crazy - kind of like, "hey pal, eat it or lose it - quick!"  I kennel up nicely while foster mom is at work, and I sleep in the bedroom at night.  Not a peep out of me - no sir.  OK, in the morning, I get a little excited - I'm always waiting for the invite on to the bed.  Sometimes I forget to wait - there's something about those morning cuddles that make a great start to the day.  Speaking of "start to the day", I need to get to bed so I can rest up for my "start to the day" tomorrow.

Tail wags.  Scooby.
