| We adopted Scout in 2004 and found that he was more of a handful than we had anticipated. He was a high energy four year old ‘puppy’. I can’t even begin to count the socks, toys, snacks, etc that Scout ate over the years. Scout and our oldest son developed a very close bond. Scout was frisky, playful, and always ready to wrestle or chew on a bone. Scout welcomed our next RAGOM boy into our home a few years later with a wagging tail. He and Tegan (#08-060) became the best of friends. They were total opposites who complimented each other perfectly. We loved Scouter for all of his goofy antics, his loving heart, his smiling face, and his ability to be an emotional support for our son. We helped Scout over the Rainbow Bridge on June 3rd. He had been in very good health until a week before. We had tests done at the vet and found out that he had lung cancer. Within two or three days he went from being our Scout to a dog that couldn’t even stand when lifted up. It was devastating to see our spunky guy like that. We are so thankful that we had eight happy years with Scout. We will open our home to another RAGOM dog when Tegan tells us he’s ready. |
