Profile

Scout came to RAGOM from a Humane Society. He is an energetic pup and will need a family who is committed to providing him with plenty of physical exercise. Scout can live with other dogs and would love to have a buddy to play with, but he has not been tested with cats. Due to his exuberance, any children in Scout's forever home must be 8 years or older and a physical fence is required. A single family home would be the best fit for Scout, so no apartments or condo living.

Scout has only been with us a short time, but what a cute and fun dog he is! He weighs just 43 lbs and the vet says he’s at a perfect weight for his size. He’s 2 years old, so he won’t get any bigger.

What a character he is! Scout loves to run, grab a toy, take it back to his rug, play with it, and then run to get another toy. He’s so fun to watch! He loves to do zoomies in the back yard and chases after whatever we throw. He’s just happy all the time!

Scout gets along great with our 3 resident dogs. He hasn’t met any cats. He's only been exposed to children briefly, but would probably love to play with some elementary-aged kids. He sleeps all night and goes to the door and whimpers when he has to go outside to potty. He walks well on a leash and likes to be near us whenever possible.

Scout was just neutered and microchipped. His vaccinations are all current and he is heartworm negative. He's currently receiving ear drops for a week due to ear infections.

Scout's teeth were brown and covered with tartar, which was removed during his neuter surgery. The vet thought this was probably due to poor nutrition when he was younger. His stools were completely free of organisms.

Scout is a happy, energetic guy who loves to play and be with people. He would love to be in a home with an active family.
