Scrappy 06-515

Profile

11/18/06: Hi. Meet Scrappy, a five month old golden retriever/lab mix (dad is golden). Scrappy and his dad Doobie 05-514 were surrendered as the family could no longer have pets where they now live. Scrappy was thought to be housebroken but he is having accidents in the house. He does go outside but is also going inside so we will be working on that. He has losts of energy, is finding that chasing a tennis ball with my resident dogs is fun and likes to be petted. He does like to jump on people so we will be working on that also.

Scrappy will need to go to a home that will have time to train him or going to puppy obedience classes would be a good idea. He likes to run (not sure if he'd run away) so a fenced in yard would be a plus. He will need to be neutered in another month. he is now UTD of his shots and microchipped. He had a bath this morning and due to his reaction I'm not sure if he's had one as I had to hold him down with one hand while I washed him with the other. Let's just say that I got my second bath of the day.

He wouldn't sit still to have his picture taken so I did manage to catch two where he's playing with our resident dog Sadie. If interested in meeting Scrappy please send an email to placementatragom [dot] org.

Updates

Saturday, December 2, 2006

Scrappy keeps getting bigger and is almost fully housetrained. He's scheduled to be neutered on Tuesday so hopefully he will have a short recovery. I finally was able to get some pictures of Scrappy not moving. Unless he finds his forever home before December 9th, we invite you to come and meet him at the Maple Grove PetCo. He'll be there from 11am-3pm. Hurry before this sweet boy is gone! If interested in meeting him prior to next Saturday, please email placementatragom [dot] org.
