10/1/06: Shadow here. Wanted to updated everyone on my new foster home. My old foster mom had to go out of town, so I now have a new foster mom and two new Golden playmates! I have a foster sister and a foster brother--pretty sure I hit the jackpot here! Marley is kind of the boss and has let me know in no uncertain terms that it?s her house and all the toys are hers. But that?s OK--there are so many, even she can?t play with all of them at once. Besides, my new foster mom says that I listen very well to doggie talk, and that I am so happy and good natured that not even Marley can dampen my spirits. That must be a good thing ?cause she laughed and hugged me when she said it. I?ve also heard her say that I haven?t met a human or a dog I didn?t like and that?s certainly true. I have lots of energy and love to play and run. I like playing with dogs, people and even by myself... nothing more fun then picking up a big stuffie, squeaking it a few times and tossing it in the air to see how far it will go. Sign me up, Minnesota Twins!
I would love a family of my own. I probably shouldn?t to a home with kids under the age of 10 or 12--I do like my roughhousing--but I do like little humans. I think I?d really like to learn. I want to please, so obedience training would be great for me. I know how to sit and come when you call my name, and all you have to say is ?kennel up? and I go right into my kennel, which I don?t mind being in at all. My foster mom says I am not a very big boy and that I still need to fill out, but I won?t get any taller. She said my pictures make me look bigger than I am. Speaking of which, she?s going to try and get some new pictures of me today, so I better go check my fur. If you think you?d like to meet me and maybe become my forever home, please email placement
