Shane 08-452

Profile

Shane came in Tuesday night from Jamestown, ND. Shane is a very handsome one year old male PB golden. Shane has a very soft and wavy coat with a beautiful flowing tail. He weighs 55 lbs. He is up to date on his shots and was neutered on Thursday.

Shane has a wonderful personality. Even though he is surrounded by new people and is in a new home, he took it all in stride. He immediately warmed up to all of us. Shane even convinced the resident dogs to play with him on the first night. This is a huge feat. The resident dogs appreciate the fact that Shane does a fabulous job sharing toys, waiting for treats and has a really gentle nature of play. Shane also showed us that he knows how to fetch, is house trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Shane enjoys hanging out with the resident dogs and having full roam of the house. Shane shows no interest in counter surfing and sleeps beautifully through the night. He does sleep the entire night in our bed. However, he lies perfectly still and takes up very little room.

Shane is not scared by loud noises or activity, so he could be in a household of kids. Shane definitely enjoys playing with the resident dogs and has energy to burn, so a companion brother or sister would be great for him. He also is very good on a leash and is very attentive to us, so even though a fenced in yard would be nice, it is not essential.

Shane is definitely a pleasure to foster and will make an incredible addition to the right family.
