3/4/07: Shea is a beautiful 3 1/2 year old female Golden Retriever. She was surrendered to RAGOM, along with her brother Murphy 07-075, because her family wanted her to have a better life. She had been an outdoor dog, with a kennel run, & had 1 litter of puppies. She will now be living the Golden life of a RAGOM dog.
Shea is a total sweetheart. She is a darker red, nice & trim, and I'm guessing maybe 60 lbs or so. She needs to be updated on her vaccinations (later this week) and then spayed before finding her forever home. As she had been an outdoor dog, we are working on the potty training...thus far only 1 accident...yeah, Shea!! She has grown up with young kids, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She met my 3 Goldens without too much of a fuss, although she did curl her lip when my one female said hi a little too rambunctiously. She has even won over my grumpy male Golden.
Thus far Shea has walked nicely on the leash and comes very well when called. She is trained to an invisible fence and no inappropriate chewing, no counter surfing or dumpster diving for this sweetie. She gives the best kisses, too!! She sleeps quietly on the floor in my room without a peep, and in fact hasn't made any peeps yet...I haven't heard her bark at all! She is playful, and I'm guessing would probably do well as a running partner. What can I say...she is the epitome of what everyone wants in a Golden. If you are an approved family, contact your placement advisor. This sweetheart will be finding her forever family quickly, I'm sure!
