Sissy 05-059

Profile

Hi from Alexandria, say hello to Sissy! She is a pure bred 2 year old Golden female. Sissy has had a hard life so far. She was left outside, unattended, until a very kind lady took her in. Sissy had a little too much energy for her and she was given to RAGOM.

She visited the vet today and got a clean bill of health. She is scheduled for her spay on Wednesday. She does have a little fur missing from her tail, but that got some cream and is wrapped up. Sissy is a very smart girl. She knows sit and continues to learn. She met our dog with no problems. She was fed several bones and a lot of food and has shown no food aggression. She likes to have things in her mouth, as you can see from her pictures. We will update you more when we get to know this fine lady a little better.

Hello from Alex!

Sissy made it through her spay; it took her a few days to recover, but she is as good as new. The doctor also noted that she had good case of "Happy Tail". This is where you wag your tail so much, that you split the tip of it open. We covered it with an old sock and some duct tape and will let it heal for a few days.

Sissy is a very loving dog! She rests her head on your lap when she needs attention. If you let her sleep on the bed, her body snuggles into yours. She is very good at sit and is starting to get used to the Gentle Leader. She still loves to carry things around in her mouth, but will give them to you when asked. House training has improved as well. We are going on four days without an accident. She is a true gem! Attached is a current picture. She is also ready for her forever home so please contact us if you would like to meet her.
