Skye 05-176

Profile

Skye is a 4-year-old purebred Golden Retriever. She is spayed and will be up to date on vaccinations after we take her to the vet tomorrow. She was surrendered to RAGOM due to a divorce.

I cannot say enough good things about Skye. She behaves perfectly in the house. She loves kids, other dogs and cats, doesn't chew, doesn't bark, knows basic obedience - I could go on and on. This dog is about as perfect as a dog can get.

One thing we have discovered is that Skye loves water. She plays in the bucket we have out in the yard that holds some drinking water for the dogs. Skye will put both front feet in the bucket and splash away. It is very funny to watch. Anytime the hose is out, she is right there trying to play in the water. I think we will have to go get a kiddy pool this weekend so she can cool off and have more room to play.

More to come as we get to know Skye better.

Skye is doing great. She actually is the PERFECT dog! Skye has met her forever mom and will be going home with Lisa H. next week.

I had to send in some pictures of Skye enjoying the pool. I know the last couple of days were hot, but I have never seen a dog need to cool off their nose by putting it under the water. What a funny girl!
