Skye (Mack 06-206)

Profile

5/7/06: I am proud to announce that Mr. Mack has made it to Apple Valley along with his 4 other brothers. Mack a little over 6 weeks old and will be ready to go to his forever home over Memorial Day weekend. However, he would LOVE to start meeting potential homes right away.

What we know about Mack is limited. We were told both parents are purebred Goldens, but the litter was unplanned and they don't want the puppies. Therefore, he was turned over to a shelter on Saturday afternoon, he was processed and then given to RAGOM since he is so young and needed a lot of love and a germ free environment to get him through the trauma of being taken away from mom so early. So RAGOM did not allow Mack or his brothers to stay any longer than they had to! The next stop would be to Aunt Steffanie?s house ? she was good enough to keep them Saturday night so my family could take a much needed night off from all dogs, we did not even bring the Newfoundland?s on our overnight excursion.

Of course by the time Sunday morning hit, Lindsey and I could hardly wait to get our hands on the furrbutt boys so we left the Rick?s (hubby and son) to do some more dirt bike riding and packing up the cabin. We met Aunt Steffanie and started home for the meet and great ? The Newf?s were wondering what I had done this time!

Now about Mack....he weighs about 6 pounds, is white in color and we have no idea about his personality yet. But I am sure you will get daily updates along with pictures, so you can get a better idea what Mack is all about. Mack has a bad case of worms and fleas, but both are being treated.

If you are at all interested in meeting this wonderful little boy and have been approved please send an email to placementatragom [dot] org. If you are not approved ? send in an application so we can get this little boy into your home in a couple of weeks.

Mack is at home and happily enjoying Scout (furrbutt) and Dayle’s company. So far everything is going well and Mack (now Skye) has settled into his new life without any problems and is enjoying all the finer things of being adopted….

Mack is having a rough time. He just wants to cuddle into who ever is around. He does not care if it is your feet or his brother’s tummy. He just wants to be close to someone to keep him warm. You can always find Mack somewhere in the pile of pups, the more heads and feet on him the better.

Mack is still itching from him flea bites but we are trying to get that under control so he can head to his forever family soon. I know he will thrive in a family that just wants to love him. Mack is a little more skittish around loud noises than the others, but he is getting there.

Mack Truck is not feeling so well after his little visit to the vet. He had the worst case of the worms and so he was coughing and pooping out worms most of the night. Not to worry, he is sleeping soundly on the couch now. Mack is also the guy who has the most flea bites. We no longer have fleas, but the bites are still making him itch. So we are looking forward to giving him a bath tomorrow night, I think that will help.

Mack got micro chipped, received his first set of shots and also his first dose of de-worm. He weighed in at 9.5 pounds – he is the 3rd heaviest out of these pups. Mack is doing great and ready to find a family all of his own. Could that family be you?

Mack Truck is here and ready to roll with the flow. He is sporting his bright green collar and loving life. This blonde boy has everything going for him. Good looks and a good personality. What more could one ask for? Oh, I know, a potty trained dog possibly - but just think, you take the Mack Truck and he will go everywhere you want to go and show him off to the people in your life. Mack is definitely on the light side and needs to get some really good food in him. Mack has a bad case of worms and that will get treated tomorrow and that will help him gain weight.

Mack truly is a wonderful little boy with a good personality. Plus a great sleeper. He does not care where he sleeps. When he is tired, he is out for the count.
