Smiley has come to stay with us until a forever home can be found for him. Smiley came from a family that no longer had the time to spend with him and wanted something better for him. Smiley is a young dog that we don't have much history on, the Vet believes he is between 2 and 3 years old. His original family adopted him from the Humane Society and they had no history because he came in as a stray. Smiley is a dark red Golden, weighing in at 68 lbs., which is a good weight for him. He is an energetic boy who loves the outside and loves to play with a ball or chew on a bone. He is a good dog and with a little attention and a little training he'll be that great Golden! We had a Vet visit yesterday; Smiley is now up to date with his shots and was tested for heartworms - which came back negative. We have another Vet visit for December 30th for a neuter, then he will be ready for his forever family.
