Hello, I thought Iâd give you a quick update on how Snickers is doing. As you read from his personal point of view, heâs doing great! I added another picture of him with my daughter. Yes, he sometimes thinks heâs lap dog! He loves to snuggle.
Thanksgiving was busyâ5 dogs and 12 humans! Snickers really loved everyone and all the dogs accepted him! Even the resident dog, Bogie, is doing much better with him! They actually play together by rolling around and chasing each other. I can tell Snickers is happy that Bogie is finally playing with him!
Heâs been eating quite a bit. At a mere 45 lbs, I think a few more pounds would look great on him! I donât think heâll ever be a big Golden. At 17 months old, he looks like a classic field Goldenâpetite, dark red fur and a gorgeous face. Did I mention before that he is completely potty-trained (no accidents in my house) and even knows a few commands!
I took him for a walk yesterday. I wanted to see how heâd do if I started running with him. He did great! He stayed a few steps ahead of me and didnât pull at all! Heâd make a great running partner. I think that regular exercise would be great for himâheâs not a hyper dog, but definitely has energy to burn.
Next week Iâll let Snickers get on the computer and update youâ¦â¦ I know heâs getting anxious about finding his forever home before Christmas!
